The sniper rifle is a mid-tier rifle that is notable for its very high accuracy and for having the highest penetration among rifles of its tier, giving it fairly high damage potential. It fires only a single shot at a time, and does not automatically reload. The user must spend a turn to reload it with a lead slug. If modded with Drum-loaded, it will instead hold 2 slugs.
Obtaining
The sniper rifle can be:
- Found as random loot in mid-tier or high-tier zones or occasionally equipped by creatures.
Mechanimist rummagers have about a 3% chance of spawning with a sniper rifle.[1]
Crowsong is guaranteed to have a sniper rifle, though they usually will not sell it.[2]
- Crafted with the Tinker II skill, after obtaining the required schematic.
- Disarmed from
sniper turrets.
