Bears are a faction that consists of ursine and start by default hostile to the player character. They are often found within the hills and underground. Unlike the Barathrumites, they are unable to use or create advanced technology. They enjoy honey, but still require water as their water ritual liquid.

Legendary Bears

Legendary Bears are found in dynamic encounters instead of living in lairs. This means that finding one will not automatically mark their location in the journal. If a legendary bear resides in a screen, the ground will be littered with waterskins full of honey as well as dreadroot tubers.
