Chavvah is a sentient tree-city on the Moon Stair at Eyn Roj, with many semi-autonomous sub-entities. As a faction, it contains these sub-entities as well as the former Consortium merchant Santalalotze and dream wrens. Q Girl discusses the Moon Stair-based artist τª in From Entropy to Hierarchy, admitting that she has heard τª is a sub-entity of Chavvah. Frivolous Lives, Vol. I and Mak both mention Chavvah.

Reputation gained or lost by engaging with water rituals or killing them is less than normal, by around 75%. This does not include the killing of a water-sib. It is unclear if this intentional or a bug.
