Agility-based cooking effects are a category of cooking effects that can be granted by cooking with the following ingredients:

Basic Effects

The following basic effects can be granted by this category of ingredients.

A basic effect is guaranteed when cooking with only one ingredient. Basic effects can also sometimes be obtained when cooking with two or more ingredients. For more information, refer to basic and triggered effects.

+4 Agility

Trigger Conditions

The following trigger conditions are associated with this category of ingredients.

A trigger condition causes another ingredient's triggered effects to activate. When cooking with two or more ingredients, the game may randomly select one ingredient to supply a trigger condition and another ingredient to supply the triggered effects. These are combined into a single randomly generated cooking effect. For more information, refer to basic and triggered effects.

Whenever you perform a critical hit,...

Triggered Effects

These effects occur in response to a trigger condition supplied by a different ingredient.

...you shank your opponent.
...you gain +8 Agility for 50 turns.

When these effects trigger, the message log will display "(creature) perform(s) an act of nimble violence." or "(creature) assume a limber pose." respectively.

Tips

This section is opinion-based. Your mileage may vary.
  • The Whenever you perform a critical hit,... trigger can be extremely effective when paired with a high-critical-rate weapon, such as dual masterwork chain pistols with the Akimbo and Weak Spotter skills.
  • Some effects triggered by critical hits have an action cost, and will consume turns each time they are triggered (potentially leaving your character vulnerable while other enemies get "catch-up" turns to make up for the action points you've spent).
  • This trigger works even on critical hits against walls and other obstacles. This can be handy for pistols and ranged weapons that miss their target, but will still have a chance to trigger the effect.
