Steel gauntlets are a middle-tier hand armor which, outside of their AV and DV stats, provide no special effects when worn.

jungle. - They are sometimes sold by
glovers.
Trivia
- For much of the game's history, spiked steel gauntlets were their own unique item distinct from steel gauntlets, and were the only form of spiked hand equipment available. This changed in 2.0.201.68 (February 5, 2021) when spiked was converted into a glove and shield modifier that can be applied to other gauntlets as well as shields. A spiked variant of the steel gauntlets is still included in item drop tables, making it slightly more common than other spiked items.
