Its aspect imbued with lucent coral, this mushroom catches your eye like no other. Qud knows no such hue, and so you ask (player's reflexive): what sort of radiant rain dyed its flesh? Could it be an iota of the Eaters themselves, mummified in the soil of the Rainbow Wood?
Elcatl is a harvestable fungus found in the center parasang of the 
Rainbow Wood. It is required for the quest Pax Klanq, I Presume?, as the second riddle hinting at 
Pax Klanq's location, in which it must be eaten to reveal a path to Klanq's abode.
