Rough burred shoulders damp with birth slick anchor arms too long and awkward, and their broad back tenses with newly-flexed dorsi.
A troll foal is a creature belonging to the trolls faction. They do not spawn naturally in the world, instead being produced by Jotun, Who Parts Limbs, Fjorn-Kosef, Who Knits The Icy Lattice, and Haggabah, Who Plies The Umbral Path on occasion when the player is located within the same zone as them.
Jotun, Fjorn-Kosef, and Haggabah will begin budding when the player enters the same zone as them. Unlike normal budding, which results in an exact clone of the creature undergoing the effect, this budding will result in the production of a troll foal after 1d5+1112-16 (Avg: 14) rounds. The foal will be allied to its progenitor and will attack anything hostile to them, including the player. Budding will recommence immediately after a troll foal is produced, meaning a potentially infinite amount of foals can be produced so long as these individuals are left alive; however, budding will cease if there are 18 foals present within the current zone.[1]
Troll foals will be produced with no equipment whatsoever. They lack natural weapons of any kind, using only their fists, which deal 1d2-10-1 (Avg: 0.5) base damage. They possess the Cudgel Proficiency skill, adding +2 to hit, and the Swimming skill, allowing them to move more quickly through the pools of convalessence found within the Healing Pool levels of Bethesda Susa, where they are typically encountered. Finally, they possess the Swarmer attribute,[2] increasing the PV of their attacks by an amount equal to the number of additional Swarmers adjacent to their target.[3]
