Goatfolk haunts are small, single-zone deep jungle settlements that are populated by goatfolk qlippoths and which contain huts made of holographic thatched wall.
Each zone of the jungle biome that is not already taken up by a village, ruin, or other unique feature has about a 1.5% chance of generating as a goatfolk haunt.[1]
In contrast to a goatfolk village, which may contain a water cistern, a goatfolk haunt's cistern will be filled with blood, surrounded by holographic sandstone.
When the player walks over a world map tile that includes a goatfolk haunt, there is a chance that the player may notice it, and see the message:
You experience a sense memory of roasted boar smell. Would you like to investigate? |
