Heat, pressure, beauty, and transformation are concepts understood by every manner of human being. When the sundry tribes commune by campfire and the hillfolk aver the godliness of the mountain face, so does the troglodyte speak with wonderment of the splayed crystal-things that glint in the shadows of her cave. Though neither has the language to articulate the mechanisms that connect them, together they know these things are the same.
A glittermensch boulderer is a creature belonging to the cragmensch faction. Glittermensch boulderers can be found underground in tier 7 zones.[1]
Glittermensch boulderers attack in melee with their crystal fists, natural cudgel weapons that each deal 4d44-16 (Avg: 10) damage.[2] To supplement their fists, glittermensch boulderers possess the Cudgel Proficiency and Bludgeon skills. Additonally, glittermensch boulderers will always spawn with 1 large boulder, which they will utilize as a thrown weapon.[3][4]
Glittermensch boulderers are notable for having the ability to "excavate" additional large boulders from their bodies by utilizing their "Fabricate Large boulders" ability. This ability has an action cost of 100 and will deal 1 damage to a boulderer for each use, in addition to incurring a cooldown period of 1d2+12-3 (Avg: 2.5). Each use of the ability will produce 1 boulder. Boulderers cannot use this ability if their hitpoints are less than 10% of their maximum HP.[4][5]
When glittermensch boulderers die, they will leave behind a large boulder instead of a corpse.[3] This boulder must be moved or destroyed to find any other loot they may drop.
Gemstone Drops
When a glittermensch takes 3 or more damage from an attack, it will drop 1 gemstone on the ground, with the kind of gemstone dropped being dependent on the detail color of the glittermensch. A type of gemstone and corresponding color is randomly assigned to each glittermensch when it spawns, with rarer gemstone types having a lower chance of spawning. Gemstones are chosen from the Gemstones population table.[6][7]
