A gargantuan slab of burned and rolled chrome was unjointed from an earth-mover. It shadows its monstrous wielder like a starsail.

The prize gambled for when slaying a leering stalker, the chassis plate has the highest AV of any back equipment as well as raising both thermal resistances. As it is inherently gigantic, a non-colossal creature must use two back slots to equip the plate, which is only possible for True Kin with an equipment rack implant installed. Also note that while the chassis plate's base weight is 300 lbs., its gigantic size causes it to weigh 1500 lbs.
Aside from the non-restocking inventory of Hamilcrab, cyclopean merchant, butchering giant heaps of chrome scrap is the only guaranteed source of gigantic pieces of equipment.
Tips
- Tracking a salt kraken for an indefinite time may be preferrable to challenging a leering stalker for those who value their run over their time. Corpses left in the path of a salt kraken are determined by zone tier, meaning bringing a salt kraken follower to a high-tier area will make the process faster.
- By the time most players should start caring about gigantic equipment, they are assumed to be capable of destroying leering stalkers.
