Missing information: What is the "amphibious debuff" mentioned but not explained in the reddit forums? Supposedly high willpower helps resist the amphibious debuff. Once you pour clean water onto the ground, it immediately becomes salty. Can you walk in salty water to become wet, or do you somehow have to purify the water you just poured? Or are you just supposed to pour the water on your body? If so, does auto drink do this for you automatically?
- The "high willpower" is the required stat amount for skills that slows the speed of thirst such as Mind over Body, and Fasting Way. Amphibious's description is poorly worded and drinking works the same as if a character does not have amphibious. The dialogue is just changed to "You pour fresh water on yourself". This works with autodrink. For sources of fresh water, check out water.
- The water must be fresh, and walking in fresh water or pouring fresh water on yourself from the container (instead of drinking) does not quench thirst, although I have submitted a feature request related to this on the official discord. The main page will be updated with this info later today. Teamtoto (talk) 16:24, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
