A mess of burnt hair drapes the jowls of a snarling mean mastiff, and two lengths of sharp canine bone drip their bleaching saliva.
A hyrkhound is a creature belonging to the dogs faction. Hyrkhounds are typically found accompanying Mechanimist houndmasters as followers.[1]
As they are usually followers to Mechanimist houndmasters, hyrkhounds will be hostile to whatever their leader is hostile towards; if encountered alone, a hyrkhound will be friendly by default, but can still be made hostile if provoked.
Hyrkhounds attack in melee with their acid-wet fangs, a natural short blade weapon that deals 2d22-4 (Avg: 3) base damage and 1d6+910-15 (Avg: 12.5) acid damage.[2] Hyrkhounds are swarmers, meaning they gain +1 to their to-hit and penetration rolls for every other swarmer adjacent to their target.[3]
Finally, hyrkhounds possess a Quickness score of 120, allowing them to perform most actions somewhat faster than normal.[4]
