A headlamp is a type of head-slot equipment which acts as a weak light source when worn. True Kin players who choose the Child of the Deep caste will receive a headlamp as part of their starting equipment.

- While a headlamp is possibly useful to players who do not want to use up a hand slot carrying a light source, there are better wearable light sources in the game, such as a
miner's helmet.
- The miner's helmet, while being in the same item tier as the headlamp, provides double the light radius and +1 AV.
